Revenge is mine. Just look at the Ithaca weather. Ahhhhhh. More like home. I feel compelled to chuckle every time someone walks buy shivering or muttering about the cold. Oh, you just wait for November and January. Oooohh boy. People are already thinking twice about their decision to come here. It's only 60 degrees people!!
Math today: The chain rule. Ahh, all this is coming back to me now. (f o g)'(x) = f'(g(x)) * g'(x). Very nice.
Chem today: More reactions. Man, that was hard.
Because of the holiday (and yes, 99% of Cornell operates on Labor Day) I didn't have the EMT class. So that freed up 3.5 hours of my time so I could tackle a little bit of the writing seminar work.
Tonight I had my CUEMS interview right after the writing seminar. It took a half an hour and from my standpoint everything is looking good. But they can only accept 1/4 of the applicants, so even the best will get rejected. However, applicants who reapply during the second semester have a high rate of acceptance.
On Saturday, Kevin, Kevin and I went to our RA's family dairy farm. They live only 15 minutes away. They have a couple hundred head of cattle, and they have employees and everything. Quite a big place they have running there. And they've got acres of corn--not to sell or to eat, but to feed the cows. Their milkhouse is all high-tech and milking happens each and every day of the year. Wow.
When we got back, little Kevin and I went to Collegetown to find a place to get our haircut. We settled for a small barber shop. And boy did they butcher my hair! They could have taken an ax to my head and done a better job. Next time, it's the $10 Sundays at the stylist up the street.
It's late, and really there isn't much else to write. Adios for now!
